Our relationship to the natural world is a consistent theme in my work. Whether, looking at a small seed or a swirling storm – there is a sense of wonderment. For within everything, upon examination, there is evidence of a greater order; mathematical expressions of Fibonacci’s golden spiral and Turing’s patterns of growth can be observed in many forms, throughout the universe, and within ourselves.

The “Contemplation Series” are charcoal drawings of images that are often paired together to allow comparative and associative readings to arise.
