I work in realism, presenting selectively edited subjects in the form of portraiture.  Chosen images are “re-presented” in a stark, over-scale format, deliberately devoid of color and context to strip away all sentimental, commercialized, and stylized stereotypical associations.

Although the subjects at first appear recognizable and familiar, they aim to initiate a re-vision, a deeper contemplation and internal dialogue about the natural world and the relationship in which we coexist.
